PREMIERE: Elise Hayes presents her personal & powerful ‘Human Heart’ EP

Music and performing have been a staple in the life of Elise Hayes since she was young. A graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music, her journey in the music industry has, in her own words, “been quite eclectic.”

To date, she’s had several of her songs – which blend infectious pop melodies with relatable, powerful and emotional lyrics – featured in hit shows, including ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” and The CW’s “Charmed”, and written tracks for the likes of Jill Andrews and Lucie Silvas.

Having also earned herself considerable acclaim from numerous critics as well as airplay on SiriusXM, together with major Spotify playlist placements and an ever-growing fanbase supporting her, 2022 is shaping up to be her best year yet with the release of her self-produced ‘Human Heart’ EP, which XS Noize are proud to premiere. Elise says the collection: “…feels like my unique musical fingerprint. All I wanted was to create something completely honest that felt singular in terms of genre. I want listeners to be able to find themselves in the emotional highs and lows of this EP. I want them to be able to dance AND cry, and I hope that these songs can help them find their truth as creating them has helped me to find mine.”

Of the title track, she adds that “Human Heart” is: “…without a doubt the most honest song I’ve ever put out. I’ve always been a very sensitive person. Throughout my life, I’ve struggled with how to find the delicate balance between being soft but not too soft, kind but not a pushover, all of that. I feel like the whole song plays down like a journal entry, and I just hope that listeners can relate and know that you can be a feeler and find power in that.”

Fall Out Boy and Green Day, but is pretty old school too with Roxette and ABBA on many of her playlists. When not writing, she enjoys travelling far and wide, attending theatre and music shows, reading and spending time with friends.
