Introducing Pete MacLeod. Hailing from Glasgow and recently signed by Alan McGee’s Creation Management, Pete has been working with renowned producer Youth (Pink Floyd, The Verve, Primal Scream) to craft an eclectic dance record, showcasing his unique voice and songwriting talent.
The first track to emerge from the sessions is ‘Minotaur’, a perfect slice of chilled-out Balearic summer swooning held aloft by a thumping beat, equally happy at a back garden BBQ or a sunset party on the White Isle.
McGee on ‘Minotaur”: “It reminds me of coming up on an E at 6:45am at Pacha when I used to take drugs. Illegal Ones”.
A few words from Pete: “The truth is electronic music is more relevant and more interesting than ever today. It’s where we are in 2015. People want to dance, and rightly so. That’s why we’re making this album.“
