NOEL GALLAGHER'S HIGH FLYING BIRDS announce eight date UK arena tour + win 'Best Album' at today's Q Awards

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds have announced they will tour UK arenas next year, with special guests Super Furry Animals. The tour opens in Glasgow before visiting Aberdeen, Liverpool, Leeds, Birmingham and Bournemouth*. 2015 has seen Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds complete a worldwide tour that included a sell-out UK arena tour in March, along with headlining major summer festivals including T In The Park and Latitude, all to huge critical acclaim.

New single “The Dying Of The Light” is taken from the album ‘Chasing Yesterday’ and will be released on December 11th. To celebrate the release of this fifth single from the award winning album, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will play a one-off show at London’s Royal Albert Hall the day before (on December 10th). The single includes B-side ‘The Girl With X-Ray Eyes (Demo)’ and will be available digitally and on 7” – with a limited edition coloured vinyl available exclusively from www.noelgallagher.com. The track has already been streamed over 2.09 million times on Spotify.

‘Chasing Yesterday’ went straight to No.1 in the Official UK Album Chart after its March 2nd release – and remains the highest selling album in its first week on sale in 2015.

Earlier today (Monday) at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds were honoured with the reader voted Q Award for Best Album… adding to Noel’s long list of accolades including the Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Song Collection in 2013, the NME Godlike Genius Award in 2012 and the Q Icon Award.
