Newton Faulkner will be surprise-releasing a one-of-a-kind ‘Live & Acoustic’ version of his debut double-platinum album ‘Hand Built by Robots’. Following his immense success, Newton has released five more albums, selling over 1.5 million records and accumulating 200M+ streams. As a companion, he’s also filmed a high quality home-recording visual album showcasing his unparalleled and engaging guitar picking & hand-percussive style and his inimitable vocal skill in a totally stripped back and intimate way.

Newton says “The album Hand Built By Robots, for some strange and unknown reason, made a lot of people really happy and I figured these ‘Live & Acoustic’ versions might help in these undeniably strange times.”

As the audio album has never seen the light of day, this feels like the right time to release it alongside the visual album to accommodate the need for chill, acoustic music in this new Work From Home surroundings in which we all find ourselves, as well as Newton’s own engaged audience, who have recently been flocking to his regular live stream docuseries ‘The Return of The Zoo’, documenting the recording of the new album. Singles ‘Together / Sinking Sand’ from the album have already garnered early online press support from Songwriting Magazine, Digital Tour Bus, Record Collector and Essentially Pop, in addition to Spotify editorial support, in their ‘A Perfect Day’ playlist.
