MOUNT FOREL - Unveil New Video for 'Greenland' - Watch It Now

Having blown the roof off Autonomy Music Group’s Official Alternative Escape Showcase last month in Brighton, Mount Forel release the video for their latest single ‘Greenland’ – which is out now on Fallen Swine Records.

A song initially inspired by climate change, “it’s about how things are already (arguably) beyond the point which our governments are aiming for” explains singer Ross Thompson. “It’s also about having a plan in place so that when the moment comes where those at the top actually start to give a fuck, you can say “here you go, this is what we should have been doing 10 years ago”. Hopefully by that point it won’t be too late.”

Last month saw the release of Mount Forel’s debut single ‘America’, a sprawling six-minute epic featuring psych Neil Young esc guitars and schizophrenic drums. Having debuted the track at London’s Paper Dress Vintage in April, the band also played a rather special show at Ushuaia Tattoo in London’s SW6, where fans were ‘tattooed’ with Mount Forel logos.

Not your average band – the members of Mount Forel hail from across the globe. Denver Colorado, The Wirral, Osaka, Northern Ireland, Dunedin New Zealand, Tokyo and Manchester to be precise. If you’re counting more places than band members you aren’t going mad, each member of Mount Forel counts at least 2 places as home.

‘Greenland’ is out now. Watch the video – BELOW:

More live shows are set to be announced soon.
