MISTERWIVES RELEASE 'OUR OWN HOUSE' DEBUT ALBUM – FEBRUARY 23rd

MisterWives release their debut album Our Own House on all digital platforms on February 23rd through Virgin EMI in the UK. The album follows last year’s highly acclaimed Reflections EP, which saw the band hailed as a 2015 MTV ‘Artist To Watch’ as they stride in the previous footsteps of Chvrches, Charli XCX, Meghan Trainor and Rixton.

The indie pop quintet – Mandy Lee (Vocals), Etienne Bowler (Drums), Will Hehir (Bass), Mac Campbell (Guitar) and Jesse Blum (Keys/Trumpet/Accordion) – have firmly made their bed of intent with Our Own House, capitalising on the great success from their Reflections EP which garnered a staggering 20 million streams online and saw MisterWives clinch the Number 1 spot on Billboard’s ‘Emerging Artists’ chart.

LISTEN TO ‘REFLECTIONS’ BELOW:

Led by the staggeringly beautiful powerhouse vocals from frontwoman – and Vogue favourite, “the crazy-talented songwriter” – Mandy Lee, Our Own House is a jubilated sensation of indie-pop gold. The NYC band make it Macy’s Day Parade everyday at Our Own House; rich brass and marching band celebration start the party with the album opener and title track, and the feel-good factor is continued into the sunny ‘Not Your Way’, ‘Best I Can Do’ and ‘Box Around The Sun’.

Inspirational emotive stories are personified through the charming reggae-infused ‘Oceans’, the luxuriously electrified ‘No Need For Dreaming’ and the aspirational anthem ‘Hurricane’ which premiered on Billboard.

Relentlessly feeding off the ever-increasing buzz surrounding MisterWives, Our Own House will be an unstoppable safe house of success. The band head out on their first headline tour of the US later in February and are due to visit the UK later in the year.
