Maxïmo Park launch online channel MaxïmoTV

Festival season is always a highlight in any artist’s calendar. Yet, as the summer draws to a close and live music looks increasingly like it won’t be returning in 2020, Maxïmo Park are today launching MaxïmoTV. Designed to be an online destination through which fans can get their fix of music from the band, who would have ordinarily been lighting up venues across the world, MaxïmoTV will offer a 24/7 program of content.

Homing in on rousing festival sets from across the continent, music videos, candid interviews and huge hometown performances, MaxïmoTV launches September 2, running 24/7 for the whole month, and will be viewable here: http://www.maximopark.com/tv/

Lead singer Paul Smith comments: “We’ve been rummaging through our 15-year-old archives and have created our own 24-hour TV station in a futile bid to dominate the airwaves, or at least cyberspace. In effect, it’s an audio-visual holding pattern as we gather momentum before re-entering the Pop atmosphere. We hope this isn’t Too Much Information, and that you’ll put a ring around MaxïmoTV in your virtual TV guide.
