LONDON NEWCOMERS 'PALACE' TO SUPPORT JAMIE T

London newcomers Palace are thrilled to be supporting Jamie T on his European tour this February. The four-piece had previously supported him at his London comeback show in August. Palace recently announced a London headline show at Shoreditch’s Red Gallery on 9th April, as well as being confirmed for Dutch festivals Eurosonic and Where The Wild Things Are.

Palace were hand-picked by Jamie T to support him at his London comeback show in August before releasing their debut Lost In The Night EP late October via tastemaker label Beatnik Creative. What happened inbetween saw the act ride a wave of overwhelming critical and fan support and found themselves rightly billed as ‘ones to watch.’

They had daytime spins on BBC Radio 1, a ‘Next Hype’ from Zane Lowe, repeat plays from Huw Stephens, found fans with 6 Music’s Lauren Laverne and XFM’s John Kennedy and sold-out their two debut headline shows at St. Pancras Old Church, all before heading out on their first UK tour. They recently recorded a session with Huw Stephens which airs early January.

They are now set to join Jamie T across all European dates in February. The announcement follows the news of their headline show at the 400-capacity Red Gallery in Shoreditch on the 9th of April 2015 as well as being announced for Eurosonic Festival this January and Where The Wild Things Are in March, both in the Netherlands.

Their debut Lost In The Night EP was self-produced and engineered at their north London studio. Expect to hear new music from them in early 2015.

PALACE ARE Leo Wyndham (vocal, guitar), Rupert Turner (guitar), Will Dorey (bass) and Matt Hodges (drums)
