The Sherlocks Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms A whistle stop tour of the UK did not stop The Sherlocks from pulling out a worthy show at Portsmouth’s Wedgewood Rooms on Thursday night. The indie rock band from Sheffield are only really at the beginning of a 38 date tour making its way through the UK and Ireland which has already stopped in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland.
You would not think that they have already performed at 18 dates prior to coming on stage at The Wedge. The Heart of Gold singers blasted through their set list as quick as the continuous strobe lighting that was in many of their songs leaving many of their fans in the SOLD OUT venue wondering what was going on. Everyone did however seem to enjoy themselves. However, I was left wanting more and feeling that a 12-song set list needed to be more like 14 songs. If you haven’t checked out The Sherlocks set and their tour is due to stop near you in March and April go check them out.
