LIAM GALLAGHER ANNOUNCES BEADY EYE SPLIT 1

Liam Gallagher has announced today through his Twitter account that his band Beady Eye have split up. The frontman of the band tweeted today (October 24) to state that the band are “no longer” and to thank fans for their support.

The band were fronted by Liam Gallagher and featured former Oasis members Gem Archer and Andy Bell. They formed immediately after Noel Gallagher left Oasis following an altercation with Liam before a gig in Paris. Earlier this year the band split with manager Scott Rodger. More recently, Gallagher has been in the news as he attempt to finalise child support payments for the daughter he fathered following a fling with journalist Liza Ghorbani.

Back in February the band cancelled their appearance at Coachella, but didn’t explain why.
At the time Liam tweeted ‘I wanna apologise to people who bought tickets on the back of us being announced. LG x’.

The Beady Eye split will no doubt fuel rumours of an Oasis reunion for the 20th anniversary of ‘What’s the Story (Morning glory)’ next year, which Noel Gallagher recently denied would happen as he will be busy touring his new solo album ‘Chasing Yesterday’, but did admit that he is getting on better with Liam.
Although now that Andy Bell is free, there is more of a chance of a Ride reunion, Time will tell.

Beady Eye released their second album ‘BE’ in June, 2013. Their debut album ‘Different Gear, Still Speeding’ was released in 2011.
