KULA SHAKER share their new video for 'Whatever It Is (I’m Against It)' - Watch Now

Kula Shaker share their new video for Whatever It Is (I’m Against It). Taken from their much anticipated new album1st Congregational Church Of Eternal Love (and Free Hugs) which was released on 10 June 2022. The firebrand concept double-album spills over with blazing songs (15 in total), cross-genre sonics and a renewed super confidence.

Whatever It Is (I’m Against It) overflows with a joyful protest-rock spirit, energised and purposeful in a way that few bands currently manage, whilst sounding like it could even be a lost treasure from the band’s stella-selling debut ‘K’.

Credited to Bert Kalmer, Harry Ruby and Crispian Mills, the lyrics originate in one of Groucho Marx’s most famous SATIRICAL songs. First performed in the 1932 Marx Brothers film Horse Feathers, the subversive lyrics and Groucho’s ironic delivery became a cathartic dose of anarchy during a time of social and economic collapse, Kula Shaker’s Rock ‘n’ roll charged rendition continues the circle and shines a playful light our current state of flux.
