JULES MAXWELL releases new album ‘Nocturnes’ – available on 5th March 2021

Jules Maxwell is a composer and multi-instrumentalist working extensively across a number of genres who now presents his stunning new instrumental album ‘Nocturnes’.

Having toured for many years as a keyboard player in legendary Australian band Dead Can Dance, Maxwell has formed a strong partnership with Lisa Gerrard, which saw them co-writing ‘Rising Of The Moon’ (a popular encore on the Dead Can Dance world tour in 2012- 13), four songs for the critically acclaimed ‘BooCheeMish’ album from The Mystery Of The Bulgarian Voices (Le Mystère des Voix Bulgares) and their own ‘Burn’ album, due to be released on Atlantic Curve in Spring 2021.

‘Nocturnes’ is a beautifully melancholic collection of instrumental pieces written and recorded over the past 4 years, much of it in collaboration with the acclaimed UK dance company Vincent Dance Theatre. The album is the debut release on the newly-formed Archangelo Recordings and is available on all platforms from 5th March 2021.
