JOHN LENNON'S BACK CATALOGUE NOW ON SPOTIFY

Music legend John Lennon’s entire solo back catalogue is available on Spotify from today.
Eight studio albums and three compilations of Lennon material are available to stream now. The availability of the music is significant given that The Beatles remain one of the few bands who have yet to make their music available via Spotify or any of the company’s rivals.

While artists including Oasis and Led Zeppelin have relented and put their music online, The Beatles’ back catalogue is still not available to fans. Their albums only arrived on iTunes in 2010 and while Lennon joins Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr’s solo efforts on Spotify, there is no suggestion that any of their music together will appear online any time soon.

The John Lennon solo albums now available on Spotify are:

‘Milk And Honey’
‘Plastic Ono Band’
‘Rock ‘N’ Roll’
‘Imagine’
‘Mind Games’
‘Some Time In New York City’
‘Walls And Bridges’
‘Double Fantasy’

Compilations

‘Gimme Some Truth’ –a four-disc anthology collection
‘Signature Box’ – complete collection: eight studio albums plus two discs of non-album singles, outtakes & rare recordings
‘Power To The People: The Hits’ – best of collection. from nme
