Jenn Grant has shared a new single, Paradise,” off her upcoming album of the same name. Grant’s new album will be released via Ba Da Bing Records on March 3. “Paradise” is the follow up to “Galaxies” of which Stereogum said Jenn is “creating something that’s both a bit familiar and a little otherworldly” and Baeble noted “it delivered so much hope, and her voice…is strong and comforting…it feels like she’s opening up her arms to you.”

With this new single Jenn is excited to announce her first tour in support of Paradise. The tour will see her play North America, the UK and Ireland with dates kicking off March 9 at New York City’s Rockwood Music Hall and concluding May 24 in Dublin, IR. The full list of shows is below.

Paradise is the follow up to 2014’s Compostela which earned Grant two Juno nominations in her native Canada — for both Songwriter as well as Contemporary Album of the Year. Grant and husband, producer Daniel Ledwell, took a year in their home studio to craft Paradise. Compostela, was written after the loss of her mother and whereas that record was “of the stars” and based on her own personal experience of loss, Paradise points the compass towards the epic and intimate. It marks her most adventurous and deliberate work she’s ever done.

The two years of crafting and shaping, interrupted occasionally by the journeys of a busy touring musician on the road, gives Paradise a new dimension of sonic beauty and melodic landscapes that touches upon balladry, R&B and Electronic music along the way. Grant notes, “I also thought about my singing much more. I feel like I am a completely different artist from when I began performing. I don’t feel like I really heard my own voice until recently.”
