JAMES BAY - ANNOUNCES BELFAST & DUBLIN DATES ON AUTUMN TOUR

To celebrate the release of his No.1 debut album ‘Chaos And The Calm’ in both Ireland and the UK, rising star ‎James Bay announces the ‘Chaos And The Calm Tour’ in September/October 2015. This autumn 2015 outing will see James perform across 12 cities including a show at London’s iconic Brixton Academy and finished the tour with dates at the Ulster Hall, Belfast on October 11thand The Olympia Theatre, Dublin on October 14th.

A singular modern talent; a damn good guitar player, singer and song-writer, Bay has spent the last 2 years touring, his mesmerising live show connecting with audiences across the globe. The 24 year old British musician is fast becoming a worldwide star having sold out tours in the UK, Europe, Australia and the U.S.

Released last week, ‘Chaos and The Calm’ has won plaudits for its catchy songs full of confessional lyrics and infectious melodies. The album’s narrative ‎details escapism, self-discovery, and the emotional adjustments required to keep up with James’s fast-changing circumstances over the last few years. Bay’s musical spectrum spans spine-tingling acoustic balladry to rousing choruses with raging guitar, exploring the musical styles he so cherishes.

Current single ‘Hold Back The River’ continues to grow charting at No.1 in this week’s Irish singles charts. The track is now certified Gold in the UK with accumulative sales of 400,000 copies.

Over the next few months the BRITs Critics’ Choice winner will embark on a sold out April UK tour playing two shows at Shepherd’s Bush Empire followed by a sold out U.S tour. He will then return to the UK to play prolific slots at many of this year’s festivals including Isle of Wight, T in the Park, V festival as well as a show at the Somerset House Series which sold out in record time.
