INTERVIEW: The Lightning Seeds’ Ian Broudie on new album ‘See You In The Stars’

In episode #105 of The XS Noize Podcast, Mark Millar catches up with The Lightning Seeds’ Ian Broudie to talk about ‘See You In The Stars’, their first album on the new label BMG – out October 14th.

It’s been more than a decade since The Lightning Seeds released a new album, but this October, they will release ‘See You In The Stars’ alongside a 14-date UK tour kicking off October 27th in Cambridge.

In this interview, Ian Broudie talks about why the new album took so long, the upcoming tour, producing bands such as Echo & the Bunnymen, The Fall, Shack & The Coral, the football anthem “Three Lions”, and lots more.

The band will also embark on a 14-date UK tour later this year, kicking off October 27th in Cambridge and finishing November 26th in Sheffield. They play London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on November 4th. Tickets are available HERE.
