Born in NYC and raised by her mother, a sculptor, and her father, a classical composer, Ingrid Michaelson has artistry in her DNA. At four she began taking piano lessons, but it wasn’t until after she graduated college with a degree in musical theatre and was touring the country in a theatre troupe that she began to write her own songs. She founded her own label, Cabin 24 Records, which has released her Gold and Platinum-certified hits including ‘The Way I Am’, ‘Girls Chase Boys’ and ‘You and I’. As well as releasing eight full-length albums, she’s also a successful songwriter for other artists as well as for stage and screen projects. In addition to her current credits, she also made her stage debut in 2017 when she starred in ‘Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812’.

A Great Big World finds wonder and meaning in significant and small moments alike. The story of the Grammy Award-winning multi-Platinum New York duo – Ian Axel and Chad King – began in humble fashion when they met during college in 2005. After years of writing songs, they resonated with listeners worldwide via 2013 single ‘Say Something’ with Christina Aguilera. The UK Top 5 hit went 7 x Platinum in the States and won the 2015 Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Their full-length debut, ‘Is There Anybody Out There?’, then reached #3 on the Billboard Top 200, leading to Gold certification and more than a billion streams. Between sold-out gigs on multiple continents, they captivated audiences on dozens of television shows and released the fan favourite second album, ‘When The Morning Comes’.

Along the way, they also lent their songwriting to artists as varied as Andrea Bocelli and Ellie Goulding. In 2019, A Great Big World set the stage for the next chapter with ‘Fall On Me’ (with Christina Aguilera, which gathered 30 million streams as they reunited with Aguilera for a powerful performance at the American Music Awards. The Deluxe Edition of their latest full-length album ‘Particles’ features Fall On Me’, ‘Boys In The Street’ and ‘Darling It’s Over’, a collaboration with Jason Mraz. The duo are currently in the process of writing their first musical.
