Ho99o9 (pronounced “Horror”) is an American band that continues to break the norms of music genres. It isn’t easy to describe their style. Some say it’s punk rap; some call it industrial hip-hop or even horrorcore.

But one thing is sure – there is no other band like them. On the 8th of November – on the night of the lunar eclipse – Ho99o9 performed at the Rescue Rooms in Nottingham.

The band has the unique ability to combine things that can be seen as incompatible – aggressiveness with softness, roughness with smoothness, loudness with quietness… and yet it works perfectly when it comes to Ho99o9.

If you want to be shaken by hardcore punk expressiveness and be calmed by soft rhythmic hip-hop beats simultaneously, then Ho99o9 is a band for you!
