IN FOCUS// Go_A at Rock City (Beta), Nottingham

Go_A – an electro-folk band from Ukraine representing their country at Eurovision in 2021, visited Nottingham on the 17th of October.

Their performance brought references to Ukrainian culture and groovy dance-inducing beats that made everyone in the room jump.

Ivan Hryhoriak’s guitar riffs, Taras Shevchenko’s electronic beats, the sounds of various traditional Ukrainian instruments played by Ihor Didenchuk and the mesmerizing vocals of Kateryna Pavlenko create an indescribable hypnotizing atmosphere, and the audience loved it.
