IN FOCUS// Anthrax & Municipal Waste at Rock City, Nottingham

Thrash metal kings Anthrax are celebrating their 40th anniversary. Forty years of incredible, superfast, legendary metal. On the 4th of October, the band came to Rock City, Nottingham, and their performance was phenomenal.

All band members – Scott Ian, Joey Belladonna, Charlie Benante, Frank Bello and Jonathan Donais – were badass and full of energy during the whole gig. They were full of jokes and excitement.

 

Ten minutes before Anthrax’s performance, there was a video montage of many celebrities and well-known rockers congratulating the band on their anniversary. Among them were Dave Mustaine, Rob Zombie, Dee Snider, Norman Reedus, Slash and many more.
