HOLY ESQUE reveal new single 'Tear'

Holy Esque start their 2016 with the announcement of new single ‘Tear’, released on a limited edition 7” via Beyond The Frequency. The soaring anthem is taken from the Glaswegian band’s debut album At Hope’s Ravine, out February 26th 2016.

The track is a vital live favourite from Holy Esque and an important track in understanding the band. Singer Pat Hynes says: “’Tear’ is a great example of two of the central themes of the album – darkness vs. light and hope. The song has an emotional weight and looks at the ever-constant fears and woes of everyday life against the hope of something better. It touches on escapism and the pursuit of greater things. It’s essential to the history and make-up of Holy Esque today.”

‘Tear’ will be released on 7” vinyl with new track ‘Oslo’ on the flipside.

Holy Esque enjoyed rising success throughout 2015, with their previous single ‘Silences’ receiving incredible support from Annie Mac and Huw Stephens at BBC Radio 1. In 2016 the band are set to truly make their mark, with their debut album At Hope’s Ravine. Holy Esque have also recently announced a headline tour, beginning April 6th 2016. Ticket for all shows are available now.
