HAPPYNESS - ANNOUNCE RUN OF SEPTEMBER EUROPEAN TOUR DATES

Happyness remain one step ahead of us all again, already looking beyond their packed summer touring schedule and into the autumn, with a flurry of European live dates confirmed for September. After a short stay on our shores, taking in appearances at this month’s Great Escape Festival, they decamp to the US for the summer before returning to our continent for a week of shows, as well as Reeperbahn Festival.

The band are currently out pushing their new double A-side single release; long-time fan favourites ‘Montreal Rock Band Somewhere’ / ‘It’s On You’, the former being the track that won the band an NME Award for Best Lyric back in February. “I’m wearing Win Butler’s hair / There’s a scalpless singer in a Montreal rock band somewhere” they crooned on that particular track, and here it is matched alongside the contrastingly upbeat single ‘It’s On You’. Both tracks appear on the newly re-issued debut album ‘Weird Little Birthday’, available now on Moshi Moshi Records.
