HAIM announce U.K. & European headline tour

Following their win for Best International Band at Wednesday’s NME Awards and nomination for Best International Group at next week’s BRITs, Los Angeles trio HAIM are set to return to Europe for a highly anticipated run of headline dates this summer. The UK & Ireland leg will kick off at Glasgow’s O2 Academy on June 10th, finishing up at London’s iconic Alexandra Palace on Friday, June 15th. Tickets will go on sale from February 23rd with a pre-sale from February 21st.

The tour follows the band’s surprise Electric Ballroom date and triumphant sets at Reading & Leeds and Glastonbury festival last year. Writing about the latter, NME said they “[brought] the California sunshine” while the BBC proclaimed, “HAIM literally brought the audience at The Other Stage to its knees.”

Ahead of their UK run the Californian sisters – Danielle, Este and Alana – will perform across North America on their 21-date Sister Sister Sister tour, including a prestigious slot at this year’s Coachella festival on Saturday, April 14th and April 21st. Their UK/EU tour will be bookended by appearances at Barcelona’s Primavera Sound on Friday, June 1st, following their surprise late-night appearance at the festival last year, and Lisbon’s Rock in Rio on June 23rd.

HAIM’s critically acclaimed #2 UK and Top 10 US sophomore album Something To Tell You is out now on Polydor Records.
