GLASGOW'S 'MEDICINE MEN' RETURN WITH NEW SINGLE 'LOWLANDS', (Video)

Glasgow’s Medicine Men return with a new single ‘Lowlands’, released on 4th September 2015 via This Feeling Records. The band already caused quite a stir with their debut single ‘Show What You’re Made Of’, released late last year, along with a coveted slot at Scotland’s ‘T in the Park’ festival (their 5th gig), where they pulled a huge crowd. Medicine Men also graced the stage this year’s Isle Of Wight Festival.

‘ Lowlands’ sees the band shift in style slightly from the debut single. The track is a hybrid between country and kraut rock, the title inspired by a new appreciation for the breathtaking views of their homeland after playing gigs in London and Manchester.

Drawing comparisons with bands such as Tame Impala, The Chemical Brothers and Death In Vegas, Medicine Men mix soaring synths with bruising basslines, creating a glorious fusion of styles.

Medicine Men Live:

Wednesday September 2nd – The Black Heart, Camden, London
