GET CAPE. WEAR CAPE. FLY. - Releases new single "DNA" ahead of 2018 album 'Young Adult'

Today, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly. reveals a brand new track: ‘DNA’. Seeing out 2017 with perhaps the strongest yet in a remarkable series of singles preluding his ‘Young Adult’ album release in the New Year, you can watch the video for ‘DNA’ BELOW:

Mellow and meditative, this absorbing new song finds Sam Duckworth deep in thought and contemplating the very essence of what it is that defines us and our actions. He says:

“We all have family traits. There’s a long-standing argument regarding nature and nurture but one thing is for certain. We all have them. This is a song exploring the idea of generational attitudes, both personal and national. Our differences and commonality make us a society, but at what point (and is it even possible) for us to iron out the creases and address the national issues that come from colonial overhangs and generational prejudice.”

‘DNA’ is just the latest track to emerge from Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly.’s highly anticipated new album ‘Young Adult’ – out 19th January 2018 on Xtra Mile Recordings and follows formidable former singles “Adults”, “Always” and most recently “Just A Phase”.

In honour of what will be Duckworth’s first album in 4 years under the Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly. moniker, he and a full live band will be launching the release with an unmissable one-off performance at The Village Underground, London on 18th January 2018. Get your tickets here.
