Gengahr today share the cinematic visuals for new stand-alone single ‘Atlas Please’, out now via Transgressive Records. Produced by Jack Steadman (Bombay Bicycle Club, Mr Jukes), ‘Atlas Please’ is the first collaborative effort between the two and stands as one of the band’s most accomplished pieces of work to date. The song premiered byRadio 1’s Jack Saunders as his very first Tune of the Week marries swirling lo-fi instrumentation and production with shimmering pop idealism giving an intriguing new direction to their illuminating, forward-thinking indie rock.

Of the surreal, otherworldly Dorothy Allen-Pickard-directed video, vocalist and guitarist Felix Bushe offers:

“We’re always trying to push ourselves and work in new and exciting ways, and that meant breaking some of our own rules and habits with this video to make something we felt proud of. We’d been experimenting with finding locations that represented the environments we were trying to create with our music and then putting ourselves in them. We filmed the video in the middle of nowhere because it looked like the end of the world and let the place and song combined make all the other decisions for us. We hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it, and thanks to everyone that helped us do so.”
