FIDLAR - Announce biggest UK tour + new album 'Too' in September

Following their triumphant London return – where they sold-out Heaven in 3 hours – and with new album Too inching ever-closer, LA punks FIDLAR return today with ‘West Coast’ – the album’s most out-and-out pop influenced number, and a glowing insight into the summer-defining soundtrack the four-piece have got hidden up their sleeves.

Roaring into life as Annie Mac’s ‘Hottest Record’ on Radio 1, the song surges forward with an infectious energy from the get-go – all unifying wailing and frantic, pacey drumming, purpose built for the huge festival slots the band take willingly in their stride. With that in mind, their Reading & Leeds festival main stage slot just got even more tantalising.

The music video for ‘West Coast’ was directed by Ryan Baxley and features the band’s personal footage from the last five years of touring around the world. The band is asking fans to submit their own footage from past FIDLAR shows via Tumblr, Twitter, and Instagram using #FIDLARTOO and on August 7th the band will release a companion video from the fan’s perspective that incorporates fan submissions.

Starting at Bristol’s O2 Academy and taking in London’s Forum, FIDLAR will be taking their playful and energetic brand of punk and heading out on their first European tour since the release of their second album Too – due out this September – and after what will no doubt be a triumphant main stage slot at the world renowned Reading & Leeds festivals.

Tickets for FIDLAR’s November tour will be available on pre-sale from 9am on the 5th August with general sale from the 7th August onwards.
