EXCLUSIVE Stream: New EP 'Vol 3' Unveiled From Alt-Punk Four Piece LET MAN LOOSE

Having built a massive following in their hometown Hull and gained radio play from the likes of BBC Introducing, BBC Radio 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq and John Kennedy of Radio X, Let Man Loose are back with their new ‘Vol. 3’ EP which XS Noize is pleased to exclusively premiere today!

Following the success of singles Bulldog and Victory Lap, both of which gained rave reviews from the likes of Earmilk, Punk News, Soundsphere Magazine as well as support from Planet Rock among others, the new EP captures the bands thunderous, driving, tight and distorted sound. Bridging the gap between punk, rock and indie, between Queens of the Stone Age and Arctic Monkey’s misfit album ‘Humbug’, the new EP showcases the bands’ ability to write tracks that capture a fierce dissatisfaction with vexed sounding fuzzy guitar tones, urgent vocal delivery and tight punching drums.

Triumphant opener ‘Victory Lap’ details the celebratory parade of a new couple enveloped by the honeymoon phase. The addictive spaghetti riff of ‘Sweet Spot’ makes way for a story of escapism. ‘Bulldog’ is a satirical commentary walking the circus tightrope between patriotism and bigotry before ‘The Acid Test’ lends eloquent words of encouragement to tackle the delicate matter of anxiety.

With a wealth of live experience, appearing on line-ups at Dot to Dot, 2Q and Long Division Festivals, playing a sell-out show at Rough Trade Nottingham, as well as supporting the likes of Black Honey, Allusinlove and touring with Zal Cleminson of The Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Let Man Loose are hoping 2021 will see the band able to support the new EP with a busy live schedule.
