ERASURE (Andy Bell and Vince Clarke) have also unveiled the Parralox mix taken from their forthcoming single, Reason, out on 24 November 2014. This heartfelt anthem backed with a pulsating dance beat is the second single from their new Richard X produced album The Violet Flame. In addition to the Parralox remix, and the recently revealed remix from Carter Tutti ,Throbbing Gristle / Chris & Cosey), Reason will be released with an exclusive B-Side, Die 4 Love, plus remixes from JRMX, GRN and Jochen Simms.
Fans have a chance to create their own remix of the track Sacred, courtesy of Blend. The winner of the competition will have his/her remix included in the official release of Sacred, in addition to snagging a copy of limited edition vinyl of The Violet Flame. Entries will be accepted through to the end of December, and a winner will be chosen in January 2015.
Erasure have returned to the UK for The Violet Flame Tour. The tour follows the acclaimed US tour, and the UK leg includes two London shows at the Forum on 14 & 15 December. Parralox will support on the 15 November, support on first night comes from Iris Gold. The year will then end with two shows at New York’s Terminal 5 on 30 and 31 December (full details below). Tickets are on sale now.
