DJANGO DJANGO unveil 'Iridescent remix' of 'Glowing in the Dark' - Watch Video 1

Glowing in the Dark, the second single from Django Django’s new album of the same name has, to date, enjoyed two incredible remixes. The first courtesy of one of dance music’s most exciting producers and DJ’s Dance System and the second from heavyweight electronic dance legends Hot Chip. To complete the remix trilogy the band stay closer to home – on Django Django’s Iridescent remix the band utilise their own renowned remixing skills to deliver a euphoric, rave inspired delirious take on the original.

Django Django’s Iridescent remix comes accompanied by a stunning original video from Mortis Studio. Made during the first lockdown in a guerrilla-style shoot in Portland USA, the video highlights an array of distinct characters each experiencing their own dizzying journey through the remix.

In the band’s own words:

This remix was done by Dave and Tommy during the first lockdown and we decided to ask Mortis to do some visuals because we’re big fans of their work. What they came up with was perfect for the track. Hope you enjoy

Over the course of their extraordinarily accomplished discography to date, Django Django have constantly headed left where others have gone right. Described by The Guardian as “capable of making music that sounds close to perfection”, they are known for their genre-defying eclectic sound and their new album “Glowing in the Dark” heralds, once again, the beginning of a thrilling new era for the band.

It’s a glorious move forward, infused with the kind of freshness and confidence that comes hand in hand with a newfound optimism.

Glowing in the Dark will be released via Because Music on 12 February 2021 on limited edition glow-in-the-dark vinyl, standard black vinyl, CD and digital download/streaming on all usual platforms.
