DJ D-SOL is confirmed as Goldman Sachs next board chair and chief executive.

Eat, Sleep, Trade, Repeat. DJ D-SOL is confirmed as Goldman Sachs next board chair and chief executive.

This is not fake news or a pre-April fool’s joke, electronic dance DJ and music producer, DJ D-SOL (whose real name is David Solomon) has been appointed as Goldman Sachs next board chair and chief executive. With over thirteen-thousand Instagram followers and his first official release, Don’t Stop (a remix of Fleetwood Mac’s 1977 original via New York City based dance label, CROWD) receiving over sixty-thousand YouTube views to date, David Solomon is demonstrating that there is more to him than his day job as an investment banker.

Counting DJ Paul Oakenfold and Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs “among his acquaintances” and as well as dubbing records as DJ D-SOL, David “has also been dubbed the ‘culture guy’ (at Goldman Sachs), after promoting gender diversity and the importance of a work-life balance”.
