Demob Happy release new single 'Less Is More' ahead of UK headline tour

Ahead of their biggest UK headline tour to date this Spring 2019, Demob Happy have released new single ‘Less Is More’, the first new material since their acclaimed second album, ‘Holy Doom’.

Speaking of the new track, frontman Matthew Marcantonio says:

“It looks like less, but it sounds like more. You can dissolve it any way you need to, but for us it wasn’t literal. We threw our all at it, doing things that made us uncomfortable, because you wither and die if you don’t keep moving. There’s so much hidden away on this record you’d think we were joking, but we aren’t. Less is More, more or less…”

2018 saw Demob Happy take their live show to an international level. Following the release of their second album, the band played across Europe with Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, a sold-out UK headline tour, 27 dates through the US in support to Nothing But Thieves, and their own headline US shows, as well as recent UK gigs with Jack White.

Marcantonio adds, “Last year was the best we’ve had as a band. Holy Doom sold out shows and took us around the world. We’ve toured almost everywhere the sun shines.”
