COVES – unveil new track ‘Shot To The Wall’ – Listen

Coves are thrilled to unveil ’Shot To The Wall’, the lead track from their forthcoming EP ‘Spectrum’, which is released on 13th April on Nettwerk Records. The band will embark on a headline tour of the UK in March.

At the end of 2014, hot on the foot of US and European tours with The Raveonettes and St. Vincent, Coves returned to The Cave to record their brand new EP ‘Spectrum’, out on 13th April on Nettwerk Records.

‘Spectrum’ is laced with driving riffs, propulsive beats and glacial atmospherics, spiked with Beck’s chilling lyrics of lying wolves, spurned lovers, star lights and dark nights that strike like a shard of glass to the heart.

Coves have risen quietly, but elegantly. Last year they released their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Soft Friday’, which won them firm support from the likes of BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe, Huw Stephens and Nick Grimshaw, 6Music’s Lauren Laverne, Don Letts and Radcliffe and Maconie and XFM’s John Kennedy, to name but a few.

This March, Coves will take their glittering stage show on a hotly anticipated headline tour of the UK.
