COLOUR announce the release of their brand new EP ‘The Famous Boy Making Things’ - Listen to track

Average bands sound like their heroes, good bands sound like other good bands and great bands sound like themselves. COLOUR are a great band.

Having burst on the scene last year with singles ‘Strangers’, ‘Nowhere’ and last month’s ‘KAFÉ’ EP, they are set to release their brand new EP ‘The Famous Boy Making Things’ in February 2017.

The EP was produced by Dan Swift (Kasabian, Snow Patrol) and was recorded at the band’s own Canvas Sound Studio on the northwest coast. Says Dan of the band: “COLOUR work with the same degree of certainty and uniqueness that I encountered working with Matt Hales, Tom Odell and Gary Lightbody. Always looking for a way to be relevant as well as exciting and fantastically melodic.”

A first taster from the EP in the form of ‘Slow’ can be heard BELOW. Described by singer James Tidd as a song about “a guy sinking to a primal level of loneliness, getting rescued by a girl only to push her away.” The music mirrors the lyrics with a glitchy tension broken up by light before the whole track implodes.
