CAT'S EYES gatecrash Buckingham Palace & perform "WE'LL BE WAITING"

Pop duo Cat’s Eyes have gatecrashed a private art talk for a group of guests at Buckingham Palace, which included a foreign diplomat. The guests believed they were listening to authentic renaissance era compositions linked to the Queen’s art collection. Instead, the duo, comprised of soprano Rachel Zeffira and punk frontman Faris Badwan, used historical instruments to perform one of their own songs.

Badwan sang while Zeffira played the Dulcian, and they were accompanied by a recorder and flute quintet who were also unaware that anything was amiss. It is unclear how the duo managed to gain entry to a private event for a foreign ambassador.

Watch the video of the performance below:

The song performed, ‘We’ll Be Waiting’ is taken from ‘Treasure House’ – the new album from Rachel Zeffira and Faris Badwan, out on RAF/Kobalt Music on June 3rd.
