CATFISH & THE BOTTLEMEN extend winter UK arena tour with new Scotland dates

Catfish and the Bottlemen’s time on the road extend further with the announcement of two, additional UK arena dates this winter, heading to play their biggest indoor Scottish gigs to date at Aberdeen’s P&J Live on Thu 7 November 2019 and Glasgow’s SSE Hydro on Fri 8 November 2019. Tickets for the two, new shows go on general sale at 10 am on Friday 5 July 2019.

The news that they’ll play to an additional 30,000 fans north of the border not only supplements the four, previously announced arena shows in Birmingham, Newcastle Liverpool and Leeds, but also the band’s summer festival headline slots at London’s Citadel and Glasgow’s TRNSMT Festivals. Updates from further afield sees Catfish’s taking flight for a third run of 2019 US dates, with their recently revealed autumn jaunt set to take in some of the States’ most legendary concert venues.

Having already spent eight weeks meeting rising demand on the other side of the Atlantic this year, Catfish return for a further 11 dates to include landmark shows at the historic Hammerstein Ballroom, New York (Thu 26 September) and The Aragon Ballroom, Chicago (Sat 5 October) in a tour that takes on the East Coast from Philadelphia to St Augustine, Florida.

The band’s latest live announcements come as Conversation, the third track to be lifted from their April album; The Balance gathers momentum on the airwaves back at home. The track follows in the wake of the runaway success of January’s Longshot, which has scored 45 million streams while settling in for five months of major, nationwide radio play, and 2all, released in March to a typically wild response from the band’s legion of fans. Forthcoming UK festival dates give their audiences another chance to hear the songs live following sold-out arena dates earlier this year.

The updated list of Catfish and the Bottlemen UK tour dates to the end of 2019 are:

• Sat 13 July 2019 Glasgow, TRNSMT Festival
• Sun 14 July 2019 London, Citadel Festival
• Mon 4 Nov 2019 Birmingham, Birmingham Arena
• Tue 5 Nov 2019 Newcastle, Utilita Arena
• Thu 7 Nov 2019 Aberdeen, P&J Live
