BUZZCOCKS are set to kick off the new year with a new single on 1-2-3-4 Records on the 9th of March. ‘In The Back’, the follow up to the recent ‘It’s Not You’ release, was penned by guitarist Steve Diggle and is released as a digital download. Yet another slice of perfect BUZZCOCKS pop, the new single is the second tune to be lifted from their current album ‘The Way’ which was released on 1-2-3-4 Records in November 2014.
‘The Way’ is the follow up to 2006’s ‘Flat – Pack Philosophy’ long player and is the band’s ninth studio album since their formation in Manchester in 1976. Recorded in London, the new album was self-produced together with Dave M Allen (best known for his production work with The Cure, Depeche Mode and Neneh Cherry) and features ten brand new stunning tracks.
The BUZZCOCKS line up of Pete Shelley (vocals / guitars), Steve Diggle (vocals / guitars), Chris Remington (bass) and Danny Farrant (drums), who recently completed successful UK and American tours, will play the following shows in the Spring.
