For their first single in almost three years, Blänk teamed up with longtime friend Noonie Bao, songwriter behind Aviicis #1 UK record ‘You Should Be The One’ and other hits for artists like Wyclef and Charlie XX to name a few. Blänk and Noonie spent a week together in the band’s cabinstudio right next to the Baltic Sea in Sápmi, Northern Sweden. The result is a melancholic RnB-driven track called ‘Tears Run Dry’, a song about breaking up and walking away without knowing where you’re going next.
Their forthcoming album ‘Only Built For Northern Lights’ continues to develop Blänk’s unique sound mashing everything from Indie, Pop, Old School Hip Hop, RnB and Sápmi Folk songs. It’s as diverse as it is accomplished and is not to be missed.
