BEAR'S DEN release new single 'LAUREL WREATH' - Listen Now

Following the announcement of their third studio album ‘So that you might hear me,’ set for release on April 26th, British duo Bear’s Den release new single ‘Laurel Wreath’ today (both via Communion Records). The pair deliver yet another hard-hitting body of work – ‘Laurel Wreath’ is a majestic track built on piano with electric guitars and synths that shimmer like strings, showcasing the depth of their collaborative intuition.

“We’re hugely excited to be releasing ‘Laurel Wreath’ into the world today. It’s a song about vulnerability and courage and the need for connection that runs through the whole album” says vocalist Andrew Davie.

Much like its predecessors ‘Fuel On The Fire’ and ‘Blankets of Sorrow’, new single ‘Laurel Wreath’ provides the listener with further clues as to how organic, intimate and deeply moving this record is set to be.

‘So that you might hear me‘ is the follow-up to albums ‘Red Earth and Pouring Rain’ and the band’s silver-selling debut, ‘Islands’, which earned them an Ivor Novello nomination in the UK and a devoted following worldwide.

“No one listens to music in boxes anymore, so why make it like that? Our songs incorporate all sorts of sounds, but not in a pre-ordained way,” says Andrew. “We just try to go where each song suggests.”

Bear’s Den have also launched a podcast series in the run up to the release of their new album, written and hosted by Sugar High’s Danny Carissimi. Listen here: https://bearsden.lnk.to/ThePodcast
