ALBUM REVIEW: BLACK REBEL MOTORCYCLE CLUB - Live In Paris

LA based rockers Black Rebel Motorcycle Club have released their double album Black Rebel Motorcycle Club: Live In Paris and it showcases what longtime BRMC fans have known for years – they are a mind-blowing live act.

Recorded in February 2014 at the Theatre Trianon in Paris, the 24 track album features songs from their early EP’s to their most recent full-length album Specter at the Feast. Highlights include their cover of The Call’s ‘Let The Day Begin’, ‘Lullaby’, ‘Beat The Devil’s Tattoo’, ‘Spread Your Love’, and ‘Screaming Guns.’ The album closes with a rousing rendition of ‘Whatever Happened To My Rock N’ Roll (Punk Song).’

In addition to the Live In Paris CD the band is set to release an accompanying DVD – the band recently updated fans and let them know that the master copy had a technical glitch and the release would be pushed back a month. The promotional trailers look intense and it’s clear that the Paris crowd showed the band a lot of love – this will make for a cool concert DVD experience. The DVD will also include the behind the scenes documentary 33.3% directed by Yana Amur.

Without a doubt Live In Paris will leave new and old Black Rebel Motorcycle Club fans eager for their next live fix.
