On This weeks show Mark Millar is joined by former Mansun front-man Paul Draper for an in depth chat about his role on the production side, working behind the mixing desk and of course we will be talking about his time in Mansun and his latest solo project.
Paul Draper was the front-man, main songwriter and producer of Mansun – one of the most iconic bands of the ’90s. The band’s debut album Attack of the Grey Lantern entered the UK chart at No 1. The band split in 2003 while recording their fourth LP (partially released on 2004’s Kleptomania).
Paul went on to work with other bands and artists in a production role, working with Skin from Skunk Anansie, Menace Beach, The Joy Formidable and with Catherine A.D. aka The Anchoress on the acclaimed Confessions of a Romance Novelist album. Recently Paul Draper released EP One and EP Two which are part of the build up to Paul’s debut solo album due for release in Spring 2017.
