TRACK OF THE DAY: WOLF ALICE – ‘Baby Ain’t Made Of China’ – Listen / Download

WOLF ALICE - REVEAL NEW SINGLE 'BROS' - Listen

Ahead of their upcoming UK tour, Wolf Alice are pleased to share their first new material since the release of their debut album, My Love Is Cool, in the form of track ‘Baby Ain’t Made Of China’.

The band spent a whirlwind weekend recording ’Baby Ain’t Made of China’ at Bad Robot, J.J. Abrams’ production company (Star Wars: The Force Awakens, LOST, Mission Impossible, Star Trek) in Santa Monica, California. The track was co-produced by Charles Scott (music supervisor/producer, releases music under the moniker Scott Sinjin) during Wolf Alice’s recent U.S tour. With hallmarks of 90s alt-pop harmonies and slow burning euphoric guitar work, ’Baby..’ sees the quartet harness everything from their debut album and adventure down pastures new.

The track will form the B-side to ‘You’re A Germ’, which will see a limited edition vinyl release, involving four separate sleeves that have a photo-booth image of each band member on them. The 7” will be released on 30th October on Dirty Hit Records, with ‘Baby…’ available now on all streaming sites and as a free download via the band’s mailing list.

The news of ‘Baby Ain’t Made of China’ follows on from the band unveiling the wonderful b-movie parody video for single ‘You’re A Germ’ (watch that here) and ahead of their biggest UK tour to date.
