Today, Swimming Girls share the music video for ‘2 Kids’ is the dazzling new track from the Bath quartet who arrived last month with their brilliant introductory single ‘Tastes Like Money’.
If ‘Tastes Like Money’ was the bands shimmering, pop-punk nod to the 80’s, ‘2 Kids’ is its brooding 90’s indie counterpart. Perfectly demonstrating Swimming Girls ability to explore both light and dark, ‘2 Kids’ is a mesmeric anthem, which the band says aims to “scrutinise young love against a dark cinematic backdrop”.

For those currently unaware of Swimming Girls, the 4 piece formed whilst all studying separately in Bath. They were bought together by chance on a musical project. Their final piece is Swimming Girls who are now one the UK’s most promising new bands.
