LEA PORCELAIN Unveil gothic-themed new video ‘Gotta Run’ from forthcoming EP

Berlin’s post-punk heroes LEA PORCELAIN pre-empt the release of their brand new EP due this April with the unveiling of a hauntingly, powerful video for ‘Gotta Run’.

The band detail the video: “The video shows a priest who visibly struggles with himself and with the life that he has chosen, in search of something that he enjoys, in the dreary everyday life. And when he searches for truth, he starts to dance. And he feels he sacrifices himself for something he now doubts, whether it exists, in which he tries to feel himself again and to exist himself.”

Following the release of the band’s critically acclaimed debut album ‘HYMNS TO THE NIGHT‘, released via Kobalt UK/ Rough Trade last June, Julien Brecht and Markus Nikolaus kick start the New Year with a clutch of new songs and a new more fervent, energetic direction. About the track, they say: “ This has been one of our favourite tracks to play live. The song is an energetic fusion that holds the balance between light and shadow. It makes you feel simultaneously strong and reverent”.
