Manchester indie upstarts Dantevilles have revealed the official video for brand new single Graffiti via Heist or Hit (Still Parade, Her’s), the first in a string of releases scheduled throughout 2017 that are sure to attract further acclaim for the outfit who’ve already won support from the likes of NME and BBC Radio 1 (Huw Stephens).

Comprising of Jamie Gallagher (guitar, vocals), Connor McNicholas (bass, vocals), Paul Tanton (guitar) and Cory Devine (drums), the four-piece have spent the last twelve months honing their live reputation with their playful and endearing approach earning them plenty of fanfare in the process.

Marking a new stage in the band’s development, the infectious Graffiti sparks immediate comparisons to The Maccabees whilst their duelling lead vocals set them apart from many of their contemporaries, hinting at a reinvention of the indie genre with their own distinctive sound.

Discussing the release, the quartet stated: “Graffiti is all about escapism. The actual art form of graffiti is about expression with the ability to stay discrete. It’s something completely original, individual and non-conformist. It can be whatever the listeners want to draw relations to. Be that love, lust or travel. The song is about standing out above everyone else.”

Produced by Gary Hadfield (Blueprint Studios) and mixed by Phil Bulleyment (Dutch Uncles, Slow Readers Club, Mammal Club), Dantevilles’ Graffiti is now available on iTunes and Spotify.
