May 27th saw the NEC complex in Birmingham play host to the opening day of The Slam Dunk Festival 2017. Sporting everything from the ska studded line up of the Fireball Stage, to the raw energy of The Rock Sound stage, and the punk rock attitude of the Signature Brew set-up, there was truly something to tantalise all ages and tastes.
There were also band appearances aplenty, with many artists swapping pints in the VIP area for Sharpies and stageside selfies, making for an unforgettable experience for the fans that finally met their heroes.
